My first wedding of the season was very special to me; it was for one of my favourite family members, my cousin Helen. While Helen grew up in the UK, she spent most of her summers here in Bermuda with my family: swimming, boating and camping the days away. We remained close into adulthood and continue to share many holidays together, it’s safe to say Helen has always been more like a 3rd sister to me.
Helen and Martin have been together for 12 years so we were all excited to see them finally tie the knot. You can see their engagement pics we took back in December when they were visiting here. In the beautiful Cambridge countryside, South Farm (a real working farm) was the perfect setting for her Easter Sunday wedding! Details upon details abound from hand painted eggs (and shoes!), meticulously sewn bunting, ostrich egg centrepieces, and a sweet table that rivalled the Easter Bunny’s supply closet – they pulled out all the stops to make this a beautiful and memorable evening.
The weather was unfortunately typically British but the lack of sunshine was unnoticed as Helen and Martin’s beaming smiles lit up every picture!
Congrats guys, love you! xo
