An engagement session is a popular choice with many couples and allows you to capture a great set of images in the lead-up to your wedding day. The session can take place at any location of your choice; the beaches are obviously famous, but some of Bermuda's parks and other hidden gems are also great. An added benefit is getting used to working with a professional photographer, the images can then be used for displays at the wedding or save the date cards.
Engagement Sessions are available as full sessions that last one hour. These sessions are typically scheduled for late afternoons or early evenings. Pricing is $625 and includes a finished set of full-size images delivered electronically and an online gallery posted for 30 days. Elopements or Vow renewals are priced separately; please get in touch for details.

A Guest Signing Album is a great way to share some of your engagement session images at the wedding as a fun keepsake. Guests can flip through the book and sign pages with special messages. Albums are custom designed, 10” x 10” in size, with 20 pages and around 30-35 images. The pages are rigid and laid out with a seamless gutter, allowing for the use of the entire page. The printing is fantastic, and the cover allows many different finish materials.
Please reach out for my engagement brochure with detailed pricing and custom packages
Sessions can be booked in advance using the contact info at the bottom of this page. Email is preferred so that the date can be noted and confirmed
Anywhere! I can come to you if you are visiting the island or we can meet at your favourite beach, park or other location. Lighting and timing may play a factor in location decisions
Payment can be made after the session, I will send an online payment link for credit cards when you get back home, for locals online transfer is easiest and I’ll follow up with details. Cash is fine also
I almost always recommend late afternoon, it’s cooler and the light is far nicer.
No I prefer not to, should we have to cancel due to weather it’s easier to then not have to deal with refunds. Once the date is set We’ll touch base the week of and finalize
I will send a download link for the full set of files, it’s super easy, fast and saves posting USB drives!
Yes, every image is professionally colour corrected and balanced for a consistent look. All editing work is done in house for full control. The images on the Blog are exactly what you can expect, vibrant, sharp and contrasty images. Black and white treatment availble upon request.
Pretty much whatever you like. It’s always good to match or coordinate with your partner so that’s certainly something to keep in mind. Generally mid tones are best. Avoid anything too trendy or busy, keep it simple!

October strikes the sweet spot in Bermuda for weddings, perfect temps in the air and water, slightly shorter days and the best lighting. Yes, the storms can be a tad stressful but when you are rewarded for the risk it is so worth it!
Emily and Justin were that couple that ticked all the boxes, fun, chill, completely trusting and just wanting to have a good time. I am not just saying that because they left me an awesome review 😁

“Hiring Gavin as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. The photos of our venue from his blog were actually what convinced us to pick the venue (and Bermuda!) as the site for our destination wedding. When it came time to choose a photographer, we of course wanted Gavin, and it was a relief when he was available.”

How about a pickleball tournament with your wedding guests at noon before your wedding? This is exactly what Amanda and Alex planned, a super fun way to make the most of your wedding day and a good alternative to the hours of makeup and a busy bridal party getting ready.
Another creative idea they had was to use the Longtail Terrace @coralbeachbda for their very casual and intimate ceremony. It’s so great to see some new ideas and takes on the usual format!

Lila and Mike had a magical, intimate wedding @cambridgebeaches late last August. You could feel the love with this group, such a beautiful evening.

Happy New Year! It’s 2025 and I couldn’t be more excited for the season ahead.
While I tend to only post larger weddings on here, there are so many smaller, intimate weddings that happen throughout the season. Here is a look back at some of those fun moments and amazing clients I am so fortunate to work with.
Stay tuned as I catch up on a backlog of clients from the second half of 2024!
